Our Vision

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to invite you to join an important effort on behalf of our second and third generation youth.

It is time for us to create meaningful opportunities for young people to hear the valuable, diverse experiences we have learned, mastered, and lived. Each of our children carries unique strengths and limitless potential. They are eager to learn, to see, and to experience the world for themselves — and we, as a community, have so much to offer them.

There is an African proverb that reminds us:

“It takes a whole village to raise a child.”

Our New England community is blessed with an abundance of human resources — far more than enough to make a lasting impact. Let us take the first step together to share the precious assets we possess with the next generation.

Although we have Korean schools and church youth groups, there is currently no community based, organized program specifically designed for the high school students we hope to support. While some dedicated individuals have offered guidance on their own, these efforts have not been able to continue in a consistent or systematic way. No single person can carry this responsibility alone. To truly uplift our youth, we need the collective effort of those who share this vision.

I invite you to join in building a shared vision — and in creating the projects that will bring that vision to life. Together, we can offer our young people the guidance, inspiration, and sense of belonging they deserve.

Thank you for your consideration, and I look forward to taking this meaningful first step with you.

Sincerely,

Taewon Jin, Program Director
